European Reshoring Monitor project (3 years, total budget about 115k€)
This project has been entrusted by the European Union agency EUROFOUND to a consortium of four Italian Universities (University of Udine, University of Catania, University of L’Aquila, and University of Bologna). The mail goal of the project are: (1) to collect information on individual reshoring cases from several sources (media, specialized press, scientific literature, practitioner literature); (2) to organize it into a secured access, regularly updated online database; and (3) to write three annual reports on the reshoring phenomenon in Europe.
SME 4.0 project (4 years, total budget about 783k€)
The goal of this research project is to analyze the requirements for Industry 4.0 in SMEs and to elaborate concepts and solution for the smart SME factory of the future. The research network includes partners from all over the world (Italy, Slovakia, Austria, Thailand, USA, India).

Dr. Guido Orzes took part as a researcher to a number of applied research projects for leading companies, including Brovedani Group, DL Radiators, UNIQA Protezione, Atel, Global Garden Products.
